The Millennium: In 1998 while I was on the Gray Hound headed to my new job driving truck, there were many people heading to the mountains to prepare for Y2K. I never really took it seriously; but at that time I wasn’t into the computer all that much either. My first wife had me scared of computers; she thought they were the Mark of the Beast, had me convinced for awhile myself. I started getting back into computers around 1998 when I was trying to learn how to get my business selling MLM nutritional products on-line. I couldn’t afford a computer, but my grandma had one and she was more computer literate then I was even though I had grown up with computers. But since I didn’t have any technology, I wasn’t worried about it crashing. I wasn’t worried about the system crashing because I didn’t have anything to loose; but just encase, at midnight, I stopped the truck in the truck stop to make sure all was going to be OK. Nothing happened, so I went on…

That year I made one of my wisest decisions. I went and got fixed. Best $215 I have ever spent!

Either this year or the next I got speeding ticket and went to court to fight it myself; while I was there waiting my turn, I was advertising Nutrition for Life to the other people waiting their turn. Later, one of the ladies contacted me saying that she was interested in my product and wanted me to come visit and explain more. So I packed up my bag of goodies and went to the appointment; after I arrived, I found out that was not the product she was after. Most everything was a blur at this point, but what I remember is that she was successful enough to coax me into the bedroom. Once there she attempted to seduce me, I let her know that was not why I was there; but she persisted. I can’t remember now how I did it; but I successfully let her down gently and took a beeline for the door. She was attractive, but I didn’t know her; and it freaked me out. I have had other situations like that one where I just couldn’t do something like that.
