2009

Summer I left Erickson because I couldn’t take all the communist crap that was coming down the pipeline from Quality Carriers. Everyone was always scared to go back to the terminal because they were afraid they were going to get fired. It’s pretty bad when every or almost every employee is afraid for their job. So I left and went to work hauling fuel locally in Kansas City.

That didn’t work either, it turns out I am allergic to something in the fuel. I can be around it part time, but too much exposure was making me sick and giving me constant migraines. So come winter I put in an application to go work for Wynne, but they had a waiting list.

My Dad was working at Transport America, so I put in an application there and got hired on right away.
