Jan. of 2006 my employer moved his fleet of trucks to Quality Carriers. I was afraid to get into tankers, but he si=aid I am either in or I am out… So I did it.

A few months later I caught him ripping me off, so I bounced. That was when I Am-tracked to Washington state to get my things and finally bring them back to KC. I had just got my pickup truck paid off, I had some money saved up. I got a shell put on my truck and a U-Hall hitch, rented a trailer and drove back to Kansas City.

I had already lined up work to stay at Quality Carries at another terminal closer to home. So when I got back to KC; Mary, my mom and I put a new roof on my grandparents house and then I went to start my new job. That was one of the best places I have ever worked!

Fall and winter came, Mary and I were settling down together and looking for a home together. My mother bought a house that year and so we used the same realtor she did.
